The Initials
(Eingestellt am 9. August 2023, 15:15 Uhr von ElChiglia)
For my first try in Sudoku setting, I played around with my initials (MH) and my birthday (11th of August 1988) and came up with the following puzzle. I hope you enjoy it!
---- RULES ----
Normal Sudoku rules apply: Fill the grid with digits 1 to 9 appearing once each in every row, column and 3x3 box.
Thermometers: Digits along thermometers must increase from bulb to tip.
Kropki rules: Small dots are Kropki dots. Digits in cells connected by white dots are consecutive, digits in cells connected by a black dot have a 2:1 ratio. Not all dots are necessarily given.
Even/Odd: Cells containing a grey square must contain an even digit.
Little Killer Clues: Clues outside the grid give the sum of the cells along the indicated diagonal.
Quadruple Clues:
Digits in large circles must appear at least once in the four surrounding cells.

Like Schesam, I struggled a bit and tried to disprove a combination that ended up being the solution lol.

Solved it by accident. Wanted to proof, that a combination of numbers cant work, ending up solving the whole grid lol

I had a hard time with the break in. Once I had the first quadruple narrowed down, it was a very nice flow!

Somehow I struggled with breaking it open, but then everything suddenly fell into place and flowed nicely from there. Beautiful puzzle, and happy birthday Friday!
