Entropical climate

I have a fondness for the global entropy rule set, but I've noticed that a lot of these puzzles are quite challenging, with 4-5 star ratings. This level of difficulty might discourage many solvers. As a result, I took it upon myself to create a global entropy puzzle that's more accessible, with a 2-3 star rating. I believe I've achieved this goal, and I'm open to hearing your thoughts on it.
Rules:
Normal sudoku rules apply.
Global entropy: The low digits (1, 2, 3), middle digits (4, 5, 6) and high digits (7, 8, 9) are defined as three different groups. In the finished grid each 2x2 box has to contain at least one digit of each group.
Thermo: Along thermometers, digits must increase from the bulb end.
XV: Digits in cells separated by an X sum to 10. Digits in cells separated by a V sum to 5. Not all Xs and Vs are necessarily given.
Lösungscode: Row 5 digits from left to right.

This was my first 2 star puzzle. The global entropy rule was a good guidance and carried most of my logic. Very well made

This was a fun puzzle. Thank you for sharing, palpot! The entropy part felt very approachable. I struggled a little with the "real" sudoku part thereafter. I might have missed some easier steps though.
