This is a silly puzzle.
Thanks to Scojo and Hilbert's Space-Filling Curve for inspiration for this puzzle. Thanks to all my testers for their time and feedback.
Rules:
Almost Sudoku rules apply. Place eight of the digits 1-9 in each row, column, and 2x4 box, without repetition. Each row, column, and box is missing a digit. The missing digit can be the same or different for different areas.
Modular Line. Any group of three adjacent cells along the teal line must contain one digit from each of these groups: [1,4,7], [2,5,8], and [3,6,9]. The two line segments are connected into a single line at r1c8 and r8c1. Those cells are considered adjacent.
Slow Thermos. Digits along a gray thermo may not decrease from the bulb end to the tip. Digits may increase or remain the same along a thermo. Small arrows indicate direction to the tip along joined thermos.
Comments are always welcome. I'd love to hear your thoughts about the puzzle. Have fun!

Updated puzzle graphics and added clarification for line connection and joined thermos behavior.
Puzzle logic remains unchanged.

My only issue is that the triple thermo bits are easy to make mistakes with when there are lots of colors in the grid. Otherwise I really enjoyed the flow of this puzzle and was pleasantly surprised how the "almost sudoku" didn't make it too difficult to solve.
