Normal Sudoku rules apply.
There are two sets of battleships, red and purple. The digits at the end of each battleship refer to the coordinates and sum of the center of their target. For example: if R7C1 is a 1 and R9C1 is a 4, there must be the center of a battleship in either R1C4 or R4C1, and its value must be 5. No two battleships can target the same coordinate. All battleships have a target, but not all battleships have to be targeted
The thermometers represent missed shots and must increase in value from the bulb end.c6 has 2 distinct thermos, r5c6 is the tip of both.
The Black dot is a 1:2 ratio, and the white dot must be consecutive.
Numbers on the Blue line cannot be consecutive.

I don't really want to delete and reup it, given it has been solved. I appreciate the feedback on the rules, I deliberately left the targeted squares a bit ambiguous because I wanted the logic of summed coordinates to be the start of the solution path and thought a highlight on exactly where it is would be too obvious, but I will reconsider. I made the puzzle on f-puzzles, not sure if you can colour the thermo's on that but its a good idea that I should explore.

Your edit still doesn't make it clear what they're targeting. Given it's fallen off the front page, might be worth deleting it and reposting it with minor modification. I'd suggest adding 3 purple circles on the red ships, and 3 red circles on the purple ships, to show the 6 squares being targeted. I'm yet to try setting one, definitely admire you for jumping into that side of it and putting more puzzles out there.
Either way, may I suggest editing to something like this, I've marked my suggested changes with *changes in here*
Normal Sudoku rules apply.
There are two sets of battleships, red and purple. The digits at the end of each battleship refer to the coordinates and sum of *deleted* their target. For example: if R7C1 is a 1 and R9C1 is a 4, the *target is* in either R1C4 or R4C1, and its value must be 5. *Each battleship is firing a single shot, and no ships share a target. The red ships are targeting the red circles (or the 3 central cells of the purple ships, i.e. r6c23 & r8c1), the purple ships are targeting the purple circles (or r2c67 & r3c4)*
The thermometers represent missed shots and must increase in value from the bulb end.c6 has 2 distinct thermos, r5c6 is the tip of both. (Is it possible to draw the thermos in different colours using Sven's software? If so, maybe make the 2 lower thermos red, the higher one purple?)
The Black dot is a 1:2 ratio, and the white dot must be consecutive.
Numbers on the Blue line cannot be consecutive.

thanks @sanabas it's the first puzzle I have set rather than solved so it's a bit of a learning curve

I just posted long comment, made some assumptions, and solved it, and have now deleted that comment. What I think the rules should mention:
c6 has 2 distinct thermos, r5c6 is the tip of both.
The digits at the end of each battleship refer to the coordinates and sum of *their target*. Then give the example.
I think it'd be better if you just put target graphics on the 6 targets, but to be clear: Purple is targeting the 3 central cells of the red ships, that's 1 cell of the 3-cell ship, and 2 cells of the 4-cell ship. Red is doing similar.
Puzzle is actually very approachable, and fun. I gave it 1-star difficulty, and finished in 15 minutes once deciding on what I thought the rules might be and starting it.

@HumanBirdsong
Thanks for the feedback.
All ships have a target but not all ships are targeted. The Patrol boats (2 digit length) cannot be targeted, I had hoped the logic of the coordinates would make that clear.
I am unsure what you mean regarding the tip of the double thermo? it needs to ascend in value from each end to the center spot but as it is not a given digit, it must be discovered.

@Demerlin
Fixed the solution code: Apologies, not sure how I messed that up.

There seems to be some ambiguity in the instructions. For instance, the even-lengthed battleships in r2 and r6 do not have a centre which is a single cell - so, are the two central cells both available options for targeting? If so, this probably ought to be made clear. Additionally, there is uncertainty around the tip of the double-bulbed thermo: if its tip is to be determined by the solver, we should be told as much. Thanks, and I apologise if I have misunderstood something.

Are u sure, the soultion code is correct?
I am not sure whether i understand the rules completely. But the way i understand them i have found a solution, but the ocde doesn't work
