Rules: Place the digits 1 to 9 once each in every row, column and nine cell region. The regions are to be determined.
Circles: Each digit in a circle must appear in one of the four adjacent cells and it must be in a different region from any other digit given in the circle.
Additionally, the digit represents the total number of cells adjacent to the digit that are in the same region (including diagonally adjacent, and not including itself).
A question mark represents an unknown digit, but it still follows the above rules.
Squares: A digit in a square gives the total number of cells in its region that are adjacent to a circle.

Loved the ruleset ! One of the best CC I ever solved ! Some steps really felt miraculous, with some clues that looked not so important were in fact extremely restrictive and allowed huge progress afterwards. Thanks :)

Incredible. I especially like how the final 3 squares resolve. 50 minutes for me.

It took me several restarts, but I got there eventually. Nice puzzle!

an unusual twist on quadrangles, but it works really well with the chaos construction - great puzzle!

Remarkable puzzle, and the ruleset is rather unusual, but great fun. Thanks for setting and sharing, @ Oddlyeven :)
