This puzzle was speedset live on Memeristor's April 13th stream. Also check out PulverizingPancake's Lightwell from the same stream.
Normal sudoku rules apply.
Renban: Digits along a line must form a non-repeating set of consecutive numbers, which may appear in any order.
X-Sums: A clue outside the grid specifies the sum of the first X digits from the position of the clue, where X is the first digit encountered.

The important thing to understand here is that normal sudoku rules do NOT apply in the GREY cells, even on the renbans. The software seems to indicate otherwise, but it's only a tool. Once you wrap your head around this key point, then any intermediate solver will be able to do the puzzle. Good experience with X-sums is advisable.
The solution path is VERY linear, and fairly easy to find. That means : good setting !
I do recommend the following addition to the rules:
"Hint: do not be trapped by dogma". Then, when the solver IS trapped by dogma, and realizes that dogma does not work, they will know they are on the right track.
