Awesome L-Sums
(Published on 10. April 2023, 12:29 by BenTen)
Excuse the rather pretentious title but "Fairly Adequate L-Sums" didn't quite have the same ring to it!
Enjoy!
Rules:
- Normal sudoku rules apply.
- The letters A to G represent different numbers and must be determined by the solver.
- 2-digit numbers in pills (read from left to right, or top to bottom) are all unique and, where given, equal to their letters.
- Letters outside the grid are L-shape sums. That is, they are equal to the sum of the digits down its column to the grey line, and then right to the side of the grid.
(For example, “C” is the sum of the seven digits that the top right pink line goes through).
- Digits in cages must sum to the letter in the top left corner of the cage.
- Cells on a pink line contain a set of non-repeating, consecutive digits, but not necessarily in order.
- Cells on the diagonal grey line contain no repeated digits.
- Cells coloured in purple, (i.e. the second digit in the "A" pill and the second digit in the unnamed pill), contain the same digit.
