Intro
For this Hybrid Star Battle Series I will be sharing a new puzzle each week combining Star Battle with another puzzle genre. This week's genre is Fillomino, a classic genre with quite a few variants, even inspiring Pentominous. Sorry pentomino fans, but despite all the 5s in the grid there is no rule concerning pentomino shapes today. It seems almost a shame to use a single number for Fillomino clues, but the genre is so flexible that I'm sure many different kinds of puzzles could be built with this simple ruleset.
Once again my thanks to all who attempt these puzzles, and especially if you choose to leave a comment. I appreciate this community and am happy to be part of it :)
Rules
Standard Fillomino and Star Battle rules apply:

8x8 2-star Example (Penpa+ link):
Lösungscode: For each row, give the number of vertical region borders in between the stars. In the above example, the solution code is 21202010.

Super nice puzzle, thank you! Not too difficult, but for a rusty star battle and fillomino solver like me it was great.

That was way, way harder than anything I have ever solved before, but I actually managed it! Thank you!

Very cool and fun puzzle! Can't blame myself for being so slow at some points, but all deductions were such a joy to find :)

Cool puzzle, thanks. Solving the example helped a lot with understanding the implications of the ruleset.
