This U-Bahn puzzle was created by Jakhob and wooferzfg. It is named after the train in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door.
If you are unfamiliar with U-Bahn, here is a guide that covers the core logic.
Draw a loop network through the centers of some cells, which may branch or turn, but may not have any dead ends.
A clue outside the grid indicates how many times the corresponding line shape (i.e. a cross, branch, straight line, or turn) appears in the corresponding row or column, irrespective of the line shape's rotation.
Solution code: For each column except the last, from left to right, the number of lines leading to the right from that column

I am just starting my u-bahn journey, I still find the deductions extremely difficult to find but find myself slowly getting better. This one highlighted some logic that I didn't know yet, so thank you. :)

As a U-Bahn novice, this puzzle tricked me at every turn, and I enjoyed it every time. I feel like I learned a lot of important basic lessons that will pay dividends on harder puzzles!

Not so familiar with U-Bahn, so that was already quite hard for me. Very nice way to get some basic logic before tackling some more challenging puzzles. The guide is very well written too. Thanks !

I still struggle with my lack of diligence - I seem to always overlook some option and think that some incorrect way is the only one. Nonetheless, I am starting to enjoy this stuff, and in the end I found some very enjoyable logic. Lovely puzzle!

I think I over-complicated the break-in, but everything was really smooth after that. Thanks for the lovely puzzle.

As a person who usually struggles with underground puzzles, this one was very welcome, as not only is it pretty approachable, but it is also very elegant and makes the solver feel clever about spotting the intended deductions. Thank you so much for setting this!
