Glyphs #4
(Published on 28. January 2023, 20:42 by damasosos92)
New puzzle in the Glyphs series! With this one I came up with some new ideas involving the "consecutive lines".
As always the other puzzles in the series are all here on LMD.
Rules:
Divide the grid into regions, each consisting of nine orthogonally connected cells. Each row, column and region must contain the digits 1 to 9 once each.
Each connected set of lines intersects exactly three different regions. Adjacent digits on a line must be consecutive.
Digits along the indicated diagonal must sum to the given total.
Glyphs #4 is also available online on
CTC-App.
Enjoy the solve!
Solution code: Row 6, left to right.

Was hard but quite fun (my first 5*, assuming the difficulty rating is "correct" with the rather low amount of solves. Would rate it 4* myself).
For me finding the regions was harder then filling the numbers. Only thing that irritated me that I did not use the Little Killer clue. I guess I found some solve-path skipping it? :-)

Very fun, my favorite of the series so far! Great in both the region construction and Sudoku portion!

Super cool region construction logic, super smooth Sudoku! Two amazing puzzles for the price of one :)

Absolutely loved the chaos construction, and the break in is very elegant. Definitely a good climax to this series.
