Rules:
Regular sudoku rules apply.
Yin Yang: Every cell in the grid is either shaded or unshaded. All shaded cells are orthogonally connected, as are all unshaded cells. No 2x2 area may be fully shaded or fully unshaded.
Every cell with a circle is shaded. The number in a circle is equal to the number of shaded cells seen by that cell, including itself; that is, the total number of shaded cells in uninterrupted vertical and horizontal lines from that cell.
Renban: Along a given pink line, all digits form a consecutive, non-repeating sequence in any order.

That was a really good and puzzle! I also thought the Yin Yang part pretty easy and straightforward, but the sudoku bit quite hard. I thought 3 star to be fair. Maybe 2 star if you're good at sudoku as well :)

Very fun puzzle! I made it almost to the very end and realized I had made a mistake which was sad and couldn't find it so I had to restart. But the second time around I was able to get it. Cool logic all the way through!

Very nice puzzle! Some cool Y-Y ant the start there. Thanks :-)

This is my first Yin Yang puzzle. I'm not sure I fully understand the rules.
Why is this wrong?

Looks good so far!
Hint:
Of those 56789 squares, 4 of them have to see squares vertically. But if two adjacent cells both see more unshaded cells in the row beneath them, that's going to create a 2x2 of shaded cells. How can you prevent that?
Also, since this is your first Yin Yang you're probably not aware of this: it's always true in a Yin Yang that all squares of one color along the edge must be connected together. You can never have shaded-unshaded-shaded-unshaded along the edge of the board - one of those areas would inevitably become isolated from the rest of its color. This is very relevant here!

@aaalexx: You have fully unshaded 2x2 areas which are not allowed (see the area r2c2 to r3c4).

Does this have an unique solution? I've end up in a situation where i could get multiple solutions
---
Yes it does! Are you getting multiple solutions for the coloring or for the digits? If you want, you could upload a screenshot to imgur or something, and I'll have a look and give you a hint.

Thank you for the help.
I've uploaded a finish version here: https://imgur.com/wXUbpW0.
Ah, i'm a idiot :). i've check it multiple times and i couldn't find any mistake. Thank you!

Thank-you Dag H! That was very lovely from start to finish. Lots of unexpected deductions but nothing too hard, and an extremely satisfying sudden unraveling at the end.

@Dag H
What's an uninterrupted line?
---
Meaning "without any unshaded cells in between". If you think of shaded cells as the floor and unshaded cells as the wall, the number in a circle would be the number of floor tiles between it and all the nearest walls in straight horizontal and vertical lines (again, including itself).

What an absolute treat this was! I feel like we've seen an increase of Yin Yang's being published lately and I hope that's a trend and not a coincidence because I just love solving them.

Thank you! I love them too! Definitely my favorite genre of shading puzzles.

The Yin-Yang/"Sight Lines" logic worked really smoothly and quickly yielded the YY pattern. Chipping away at the renbans is what took the time for me. I also rated this puzzle as 3* difficulty.

Some cute interactions in there, thanks! 3* difficulty imo.

Appreciate the feedback! If someone seconds that, I'll change the rating.
