The "Sum of Sums" Puzzle (that no one asked for)

Rules:
The nine central 3x3 regions form a 9x9 sub-grid in which normal Sudoku rules apply. Cells surrounding the 9x9 sub-grid form the tenth region in which digits may repeat.
A cell in the tenth region contains the corresponding X-sums clue for the 9x9 sub-grid. An X-sums clue is the sum of the first X digits along the row, column, or main diagonal adjacent to the clue, where X is the first digit in that particular row, column, or main diagonal.
Clues outside the grid give the sum of digits along the indicated diagonal of the 11x11 grid. Digits may repeat on such diagonals if allowed by the other rules.
On thermometers, digits must increase from the bulb end.

My first puzzle completed by Jeet, and I loved it. Thank you for a great experience! I especially loved how intricate the logic was, yet the clues were very easy to follow sequentially.

Thanks for the feedback, everyone! I honestly did not think many people were going to try this puzzle because it 'looks' intimidating. Happy to see that at least a few of you got the same kick out of it as I did.
