Candles in the Dark
Heads up! This is not a typical fog sudoku. The fog will only clear at designated points. Because of the way this puzzle has to be set though, the software will not be able to confirm the solution is correct and it will incorrectly show digits as errors if you have conflict checker turned on. For the best experience, disable conflict checker for this solve!
Rules:- Normal sudoku rules
- Killer Cages (normal): Digits in cages must not repeat and must sum to the small corner total.
- Kropki (normal): Digits separated by a white dot must be consecutive. Digits separated by a black dot must be in a 2:1 ratio. Not all possible dots are given.
- Arrow (normal): Digits along an arrow must sum to that arrow's circled digit. Digits may repeat along an arrow if permitted by other rules. All arrow sums are single digit sums.
- Path: Draw a path of 16 orthogonally connected cells beginning at the green cell in row 1 column 9. All digits on the path must be even, and adjacent digits on the path must differ by at least 3. All green cells in the grid must be on the path.
- Fog of War (NOT normal): The grid is covered in fog. Not all correctly filled digits will clear the fog, but a correctly filled digit in a designated "candle cell" will help light the way.

Brilliant! You have to be VERY careful when excluding options, there are some weird paths. Had to rewind several times. I love the fog clearing only at designated points.

That was a very delightful puzzle, very nice constraint with the path. At first I was doubtful about my steps because of the errors that were rising, but after reading some comments I kept on solving!.. Thank you @Dave for setting it!..

The conflict checker gets set off for this puzzle because the SudokuPad software was given a partial solution in order for the fog to work the way it does in this puzzle. Hopefully there will be a fix to the software in the future to allow for this sort of abnormal fog puzzle!

spectacular puzzle, very tricky and a beautiful path to solve it. 5 stars!
side note: the conflict checker seems to be bugged for this puzzle. not sure why but i was getting errors where there weren't any so i had to turn it off.
