The first sudoku puzzle I ever set was called Genesis, which utilised a certain idea I found quite interesting at the time. Unfortunately, as someone that was new to variant sudoku, I wasn't sure how to finish the grid except by tossing kropki dots everywhere. I have intended to repurpose the initial ideas for a while since they were very fun to play around with, and it was an interesting and nostalgic experience to set this puzzle using the knowledge I have gained from this wonderful community. As always, your feedback is appreciated, and I hope you enjoy solving Renewal :)
Rules
Sudoku: Normal sudoku rules apply.
Region Sum Lines: Region sum lines (in blue) must have an equal sum N within each 3x3 box they pass through.
XV Pairs: Cells separated by a V must sum to 5. Not all V clues are necessarily given.
Diagonal: Digits cannot repeat along the marked diagonals.

Absolutely loved this puzzle! Start to finish I found this to be pretty approachable for my skill level. It's a beautiful sequence of deductions that flowed smoothly from one step to the next. Job well done Xendari!

That was super smooth, almost too smooth, so smooth that at one point I thought I had broken the puzzle because it shouldn't be this smooth.
