Normal sudoku rules apply.
Normal rules for killer cages, German whispers, X's, between lines, renban, and thermos apply. The cell with the square in it is even. There are no negative constraints.

Lovely. Very neat. It was interesting and evolving. I like how it kept changing, and there was always something new to think about, so it didn't get repetitive at any stage. Very nicely done! Thank you!
