Regional Differences

Rules: Normal Sudoku rules apply. Place the digits 1 to 9 once each in each row column and box.
Region Sum Lines: The sum of the digits on a line within a box (the line's "region sum") must be the same for each box that line passes through.
Dots: Dots apply to the lines in this puzzle, not cells.
Lines separated by a white dot have consecutive region sums.
Lines separated by a black dot have region sums in a ratio of 1:2

I can not speak highly enough about this puzzle. I do not consider myself a great solver, but this puzzle took every ounce of what skill I have. Thank you so much for this puzzle, definitely one of my favorites!

Took me several tries and a couple re-reads of the rules before I managed to break into it but it was ultimately a satisfying challenge.

Thank you for this great puzzle, Oddlyeven! At first, I was worried if I could find a break-in at all. But when I got going, the solving path felt very smooth and intuitive.
