This is somewhat of a spiritual successor to my previous numbered-rooms-without-numbers puzzle Post Office Panic! and is much more mind-bending. This is a beast of a puzzle, but I love all the logic in it dearly. Good luck, and let me know what you think!
Rules
Place the digits 1-9 exactly once in each row, column, and 3x3 box. In addition, place some of the digits 1-9 in the cells outside the grid contained in the cages. Digits may not repeat in cages, but digits may otherwise repeat in the same row or column outside the grid.
Clues outside the grid are numbered room clues and indicate the digit which has to be placed in the Nth cell in the corresponding direction, where N is the digit placed in the first cell in that direction.
Digits separated by the white dot are consecutive.
Lösungscode: Column 5 followed by Row 8 of the main grid (i.e. not counting outside digits)

Finally done it ! The fisrt part was my favorite (even if I made a very stupid mistake that caused me to start over 3 times). The midgame and end were harder for me, but still very enjoyable. Thanks :)

This has been a target for me ever since I failed to solve it last autumn. Some really nice logic to uncover once I uncovered a clean logical solve.

I found it very hard in the middle of the solve but once I figured that out, it was very nice.

Great puzzle that is incredibly well set! One of the most rewarding numbered rooms puzzles I have ever solved. Very well done!

A very challenging puzzle with some beautiful deductions. Impressive that it was even possible to construct a puzzle based upon that concept!

thank you so much jesper! making it starting with the beginning pieces of logic, I didn't know just how deep it would go. I'm quite as surprised as you are! ~tess

@ kjholt If the cells outside the grid are not in cages then they are empty.

Clarification: cells outside the grid which are not in cages are empty, correct? If that's not necessarily true, is every box filled outside the grid? Thanks :)
--
@kjholt Cells outside the grid inside cages are filled. No other cells outside the grid are filled.

This is one of the hardest numbered rooms puzzles with a twist that I've ever solved! It has some beautiful and amazing logic but mind bending as you mentioned :)
