Epiphany (Numbered Room and Region Sum Line)

Though the flow in this puzzle is quite unusual from my perspective, the break-in and the interactions are... well, interesting and funny to see; I'd also say that this puzzle is somewhat a fascinating discovery to myself. Estimated difficulty is around 4/5 (and may be lower), I hope you enjoy!
- Normal Sudoku rules apply for the 9x9 grid: every row, column and 3x3 box contains digits from 1 to 9 each once.
- A clue outside the grid indicates the digit that has to be placed in the Nth cell in the corresponding direction, where N is the digit placed in the first cell. For example if R2C1 is a 4 then R2C4 has to be 9.
- For each blue line in the grid, digits on the line have an equal sum N within each box it passes through.

Thank you everyone for the great feedback, glad everyone enjoyed it! I didn’t have so much expectation to get this combo work properly enough but after few days, when I revised some of the numbered room puzzles in the past (Angelo’s [id=000AA7] and Qodec’s [id=0009Q4] ), I finally got an idea for the main opening and then the rest of the puzzle :)
