On 16th January 2022, my daughter Emma-Sophie was born, welcome to this world! I created this puzzle just before you were born and dedicate it to you! :)
(The reason I am posting this now and not back then, is because my brain was not working, because I didn't have that much sleep and I completely forgot about publishing it. I stumbled upon the puzzle and thought, oh dear I never published it... My daughter is now 8 months, growing well and in good health! :))

Rules:
Fill in the digits 1 to 9 in each row and column without repeats. (Latin square)

All Kropki (black and white) and XV are given!
In other words:
  • No orthogonal cells can have a sum of 5.
  • No orthogonal cells can have a sum of 10.
  • No orthogonal cells can be consecutive.
  • No orthogonal cells can have a ratio of 1:2.
Diamonds between 2 cells are adding up to 14 or more. Not necessarily all diamonds are given.

3 star break-in I'd say, the rest is more like 2, felt quite nice to solve though.

Took myself way to long to solve... I guess it's not m best day today. :D

The puzzle combined with your dedication to your family would make up for about 200% rating. That's not an option, unfortunately. So I stick to a "very nice".

First of all, congratulations to you and your family. The puzzle is nice and I think it is easier than 4 stars. I liked the idea of disambiguating everything with the diamonds. Thank you for the puzzle, Peter! :)

I got different feedback on difficulty, it is always hard to put. But let the solvers decide on what the real difficulty is :)

This puzzle definitely seems to be broken. A clue or something is missing?

PV: Hi Volkner, maybe my rules weren't clear enough, but I can assure you there is definitely a solution to this puzzle :) (there is also a video on it on YT, search for Zetamath stream #18)
