Hidden X-Sums

This puzzle is the third in what has become a series of "Hidden" clues. You can find the others here:

The Rules:
- Normal sudoku rules apply.
- Numbers around the outside of the grid are X-sums -- the sum of the first x digits in that row or column where x is the first digit seen from that direction. (Oops, no sums have been given!)
- Numbers in the circled cells are the X-Sums totals, but the solver must determine their value and location. A horizontal pair reads left to right and must be an X-sum on either end of the row. A vertical pair must be read top to bottom and indicates an x-sum on either side of the column. A single circled cell represents an x-sum on either side of either the row or column.

Very nice ! This reminded me of a puzzle by kolot with a similar idea but diffrent realisation : https://logic-masters.de/Raetselportal/Raetsel/zeigen.php?id=00085S
Reply: Yes - we've both x-sums and sandwich versions with this idea. I've also got a full rank version with hidden clues like this. Someday I'd like to make a Chaos construction puzzle with this ruleset, but the details haven't come to me yet. Glad you enjoyed it!
