Puzzle rules
Normal Sudoku rules apply.
Digits may not repeat in cages. Orthogonally adjacent cells may not be consecutive. Cells separated by a king's move or a knight's move in chess must be different. X separates digits that sum to 10. V separates digits that sum to 5. Not every X or V is given.

STOP PRESS: A reduced version of the originalFor those who want more of a challenge, this modification has just three of the original cages (as suggested by apendleton) and still offers a clean solve. The original grid accommodates more solving strategies and solve paths.

Added alternative with fewer cages as noted by correspondent apendleton.

There are some cages not in fact necessary to give a reasonable solve path - the cage mainly in box 1 and the cage at row 4 column 6 can, I think, both be deleted/ignored. On some solve paths these cages make life easier, and not everyone will tackle the problem the same way.
Given the likely approach to the puzzle it has seemed reasonable to me to give people a fair chance of making progress with a variety of reasonable starting strategies. Give yourself extra credit for each cage you don't use!

Nice one! I learned so much about anti-king-anti-knight-sudoku.

I am continuing my exploration of ways of disambiguating a Miracle grid using minimal clues and no digits.
