Thermal Equilibrium (Chaos Construction)

Here is a new CC puzzle inspired by Wrench Heads. But this time, I decided to use thermometers instead of arrows. I hope you will enjoy!
Rules
- Normal chaos construction rules apply. Each row, column, and region must contain the digits 1 to 9 once each. Regions must be determined by the solver.
- Digits along a thermometer must increase from the bulb end.
- Digits on a thermo have an equal sum N within each region it visits. If the same thermo visits a region more than once, each visit counts separately. It is possible that some thermos visit only one region.
Note: each branching thermo has a separate region sum constraint. For example, the R2C6-R1C5 thermo must have an equal sum in each region it visits, but the value of R1C5 has no effect on R3C7 and R4C8.

Awesome puzzle ! Loved the first part with the thermo building logic ! Got a little stuck around mid solve because I did not spot the sudoku tricks and tried too much to rely on the construction part, which was obviously impossible without a few more digits. Thanks for this beautiful and minimalist looking grid !
@Thank you @Christounet for solving! I admit that this puzzle has some sneaky sudoku steps in the mid-solve but I'm glad you found a way through.
