Proximity
(Eingestellt am 4. Juni 2022, 23:00 Uhr von XeonRisq)
Updated the example to better demonstrate the rules below.
- Normal sudoku rules apply.
- Proximity Cells:
- The digit in a square cell designates how many surrounding cells are of the same parity (odd/even).
- The digit in a circle cell designates how many surrounding cells are of the opposite parity (odd/even).
- (The proximity cell is not counted in the total for the surrounding cells.)
- Below is an example of proximity cells.:
-Top grid shows four even cells surrounding the square cell [4] and six odd cells surrounding the circle cell (6).
-Bottom grid shows four even cells surrounding the square cell [4], but the circle cell (6) does not have enough remaining cells available for six odd cells and is thus broken.

Lovely demonstration of proximity cells! This is a refreshing take on sweeper cells that does great things with parity!
