Continuing the theme of revisiting old ideas, here's a revamped version of Eight Squares.
Normal Sudoku rules apply. Inside of each marked cage, the cells must all contain different digits, and those digits must sum to the total given in the top left corner of that cage.

the logic is hard to grasp. surprisingly I struggled quite a bit, but I eventually got it and over all a really nice puzzle.

Fantastic interactions between all the cages - which rules one thing out after the another. Never felt stuck and the entire solve felt very smooth. One of the nicest - or should I say most elegant - killer puzzles I have ever done. Thanks a lot!
