Rules:
- Deconstructed Suguru: Fill some cells in the grid with the digits 1–9 such that no digit repeats in a row or column. All digits must belong to a region, which is a collection of orthogonally connected cells. A region of size n contains the digits 1 through n once each. Regions may not touch each other orthogonally, although they may touch each other diagonally.
- Quadruples: Digits in a white circle must appear in the four surrounding cells.
Puzzle Links: Solve in F-Puzzles or in the CTC (recommended)
Enjoy!
Lösungscode: Ignoring blank cells, write in the contents from Row 7 (left to right) followed by Row 10 (left to right) with no spaces.

Super fun and smooth puzzle, along with some great aha moments near the end!
I can imagine the different stages of pain when trying to get the final parts done x)

Thank you for the puzzle. Never in my Sudoku career have I thought so many times that it broke, only to be in awe a few moments later to realize it is not. Loved it.

Some of the best pathing I’ve seen, especially for an SCD. Excellent use of the quads + suguru logic to solve by exclusion.

That was probably one of the best but also most stressful endings I've ever seen, thanks for the puzzle!

One of my favourite endings ever! This seems like it must've broken so many times while setting, but I'm glad I could solve it :)

Very nice puzzle. Not too difficult.

Amazing puzzle, lots of fun deductions.

Very nice combination. I had not done a SCD since the long serie by mathpesto so that feels good to get lost in such a big grid again. Nothing too complicated apart some tricky region logic around midsolve for me. Thanks++

Very nice! Tricky opening, but quite smooth afterwards. Enjoyed it more and more as the regions started filling up.

I don't know if it was exactly quadruple the fun, but certainly plenty of it. Amazing puzzle. :)

Was a lot of fun to live solve! Thanks :)

This was very nice puzzle! Really enjoyed solving it. There's a lot of beautiful logic throughout the puzzle.

I've started a discussion in http://forum.logic-masters.de/showthread.php?tid=2042
Maybe we can find more consistent names?
am 4. Mai 2022, 11:51 Uhr von Dandelo
So probably this discussion should be moved to the forum. But I think most of the SCD friends are not active there? Anyway, I'll start it and post the link here.
BTW, e.g. at janko.at you get an excellent overview about puzzle types, incl. rules, different names and origin.

Do I read it correctly? Numbers can be greater than 9 and repeat in rows/columns?
~ Oh, well spotted. No they cannot, I just realized I forgot the first sentence. Sorry. And they cannot repeat.
~~ Thx. I've expected this, because of the other SCDs. But since in Suguru the standard is 'touching forbidden, repeating allowed' I was not sure...
BTW, I wonder (not only here, but all the time) if Suguru is the correct name. It has not too much in common with classical Suguru IMO. Or: not more than e.g. with Hakyuu or Renban or similar puzzle types.
~~~ That discussion actually came up in the CTC discord server as well when Sam (Cappleman-Lynes) pointed it out. I did agree with it, however, since all the puzzles in this type were called as such, I did not know what to change it to (as I am not that proficient in pencil puzzle genres), so I left it as is :D
Very nice, well constructed!
This is an excellent puzzle, and wonderful to see another constraint being used in an SCD in such and elegant way.
What an elegant puzzle! Very clever use of quadruples. I thoroughly enjoyed solving this!
