The Rules:

1. Normal sudoku rules apply.
2. [Region Sum Lines] Region sum lines rules apply. The sum of the cells on the lines in each region, and outside the grid, are the same. Each time a line enters a region, or exits the grid, begins a new sum. For example:
   • The small line on rows 0 and 1 represents four sums, and outside sum, the sum of cells in box 2, the single cell in box 3, and another outside sum.
   • The line under that represents 5 sums, an outside, Box 1, Box 2, Box 3, and another outside.
3. [Sandwich] Numbers on the outside of the grid (which must be deduced from the region sum lines) represent the sum of the cells sandwiched between the 1 and the 9 in that row or column.
