Normal Sudoku rules apply. Place the digits 1 through 9 in each empty cell. Digits must not repeat within the same row, column, or box.
Digits along each thermometer must increase starting from the bulb end.
Adjacent digits along each german whisper line (grey, box 7) must have a difference of at least 5.
The digits along each arrow must sum to the digit in the circled cell. Digits may repeat along an arrow if permitted by other rules.

the grey on grey formatting makes it hard to see, and the addition of a bulb at r7c7 is also confusing

Not sure what I was doing wrong, but I backed myself into a corner twice and got two 1s on row 5. Third go was the lucky one though, and I really like the way the solve unfolds. Great puzzle!
