To solve this puzzle, you must translate English to German—by first placing English words into the caged region, and then by solving a German Whispers Sudoku. Hope you enjoy!
Rules:
Normal Sudoku: The digits 1 to 9 must appear in every row, column, and 3x3 box.
German Whispers: Adjacent digits along green lines must have a difference of 5 or greater.
Wordsearch Cage:
- Place the English words for the digits 1 to 9 (ONE, TWO, THREE, etc.) into the cage so that each cell contains exactly one letter and all cells are filled.
- For each digit, its corresponding English word must appear twice—once horizontally (read left to right) and once vertically (read top to bottom).
- Words for the same digit must share a letter (see example).
- In the shared cell, write the corresponding digit (see example).
- Note: any number of words may share letters and overlap with other words. However, words for the same digit must intersect.
Example:
For reference, here are the English words for the digits 1 to 9:
- 1 - ONE
- 2 - TWO
- 3 - THREE
- 4 - FOUR
- 5 - FIVE
- 6 - SIX
- 7 - SEVEN
- 8 - EIGHT
- 9 - NINE
