Normal Sudoku rules apply.
German Whispers: Digits on a green line must have a difference of at least 5.
Even/Odd: Cells with gray squares must contain even digits. Cells with gray circles must contain odd digits.
Put this pattern of clues into the grid in seven different positions:
The patterns may overlap with each other or the given clues.
If there is an overlap all clues must still be valid.
Digits may repeat within a pattern.
You may not rotate or mirror the pattern or put it partially off the grid.
Solution code: Row 5 in the Sudoku.

Well that was fun. I did not solve it faster than Simon could place the 5's, but I did solve it faster than him :).

I love it! I was watching Simon while solving, and I solved the entire puzzle while he was still searching for where the 5's could go! :)
