Rules:
Normal Sudoku rules. Normal Thermo Sudoku rules: digits increase in value from bulb to tip. Variant - Thermocoupled: all the thermometers in the puzzle have been hidden along a line. They are all entirely on the line, every cell on the line is part of a thermometer, and they all face the same direction with respect to the line - this direction must be determined. The thermometers all cross exactly one thick line separating boxes, and they cannot cross the same thick line multiple times.

A hidden gem, very cute sudoku and not difficult, I hope it will be rated someday it seems that it flew under the radar.

Can you give an example? What does it mean: "they all face the same direction with respect to the line"?
(nevermind. I missed the word 'along'. All thermometers have been hidden along the line.)

Great puzzle, I loved how it kept pushing after the initial break-in. Try it if you love coloring.
