Wow! This puzzle took me over 6 hours to solve without bifurcation. There IS a logical solution path without bifurcation, but it is WELL hidden, buried under layers of intricate fortress logic. I'm not sure how you managed to set this without driving yourself crazy, but congratulations on making a brainteaser for the ages. This is one of my proudest solves to date and I imagine it will remain unchallenged for quite a while.
