Quantum FOAM

(Published on 20. January 2022, 23:47 by starwarigami)

N.B. Due to the nature of s-cells, this is not quite a GAS, but it is Full Of Approachable Moments

Place the digits 0-9 in the grid so that every row, column, and 3x3 box contains every digit exactly once.
To enable this, there ia a single Schrödinger cell in each box, containing two different digits.

Digits in cells along an arrow sum to the same total as the digit(s) in the connected circle.
Digits in cages may not repeat, and must sum to the indicated total.

How is the S-cell considered in the solution code?

@Montikulum - both digits, lowest first. SO the solution code should be 10 digits, not 9 as indicated, sorry

@starwarigami thank you, that worked well. I was confused about the amount of digits, as you guessed correctly. Very well set btw!

I'm a newbie on Logic Masters and this was the hardest Sudoku I've solved until now. I'm very proud of it! The puzzle was very challeging for a newbie but still approachable, love it.

@Aersys: thanks so much for giving it a go! Glad you enjoyed it!

Easy and still very interesting S-cell puzzle !

I'm currently going back to try all the S-cell puzzles that I did not do in the past. I wish there was a tag to help me in my research. Don't know how to create one and if it would be "allowed".

OMG that hurt my brain on so many different occasions. Very distressing that some of my usual, memorized number combinations were no longer the only options!

Very nicely constructed and quite a nice introduction to quantum sudoku, though I fear a some people will find it a bit too hard.

Good job! First time solving puzzle with "Schrödinger cell" ruleset and I absolutely loved it. Thanks!

It seems overwhelming at first but after a closer look the deductions are easy to find. Great job !

Very nice, I actually managed to solve this in a reasonable time. Thanks for setting this FOAM! I never got really stuck, the puzzle had a real nice flow.

Such a lovely puzzle; a lot of fun to solve! I had been previously intimated by Schrodinger Cells, but this was a great entry point. FOAM indeed!

Very nice puzzle, with some great, but not too difficult deductions. Thanks!
