Thermo variant #33: Cracked Thermos

Thermo Variant Series puzzles
This puzzle is heavily motivated by Rangsk's Biohazard Thermo Sudoku. Enjoy!
Rules: Normal sudoku rules apply. Along thermometers, digits must increase* from the bulb end.
*Variant: These thermos have a crack in them! Don't worry, they work just fine, sort of! Cells before the crack (red dot) act like a regular thermometer, increasing starting at the bulb. The thermo cell immediately after the crack is either one less than or exactly equal to the cell on the thermo before the crack. Then, after the crack, the digits behave like a regular thermometer again, increasing up to the tip.
