Normal sudoku rules apply. Orthogonally adjacent cells must not contain consecutive digits. Digits on a thermometer must strictly increase from the bulb end. I think this puzzle is 1 star for difficulty if you are familiar with the non-consecutive constraint. As always, comments welcome!
Solution code: First row of puzzle, and fourth column of puzzle (read top to bottom). Enter as a string of 18 digits, no spaces.

Agreed with @Baklin -- I found columns 3 through 6 fairly quickly, but it took a while for me to whittle down candidates after that! Glad I persevered, though. Challenging, but fun.
** I'm glad you made it through. Like I said below, non-con is tricky if you haven't done many of them.

** Thanks Chelo for continuing to visit my little corner of the Internet. :-)

I liked this one a lot. I found the 3-6 columns easy but got some what stuck after that.
Not too easy for me, but I'm just a beginner.
** Thanks. Yeah - there's actually one step that's quite hard to spot after the thermos... And if you are new to non-con, it takes a while to get used to... Thanks!
