Very cool puzzle! Confused myself with averages instead of medians a few times but it worked out in the end. This definitely gets a median rating (for difficulty, of course). Well done!

Very clever application of medians! This was a lot of fun to solve and I especially liked the ending... which I won't say more about here to avoid spoilers. ;-)

Only 2⅔ stars difficulty for me as well.
Reply: with medians, you cant have a 2/3… either integers or 1/2s… :-)

X-median has some interesting tricks. It's a little bit easy for me, or maybe it's like the 5th median I solved. A lot of dejavu tricks.
Anyway, what comes next?
REPLY: Easy isn't a bad thing... especially for a variant rule that's not super popular, so I'm glad you found it approachable! Next for me is Little Killer Medians I think... Thanks for solving!
Bigger:I mean the part I found easy is the >1 part. I was expecting something a lot harder. Turns out, i was overthinking... And If the next would be little killer, then I probably might copy and maybe expand this idea a little bit further.
Reply: the example puzzle has a little more challenging deductions with all the ? Clues if you want— this may be an example where the example is as challenging as the full sized.
Bigger: oh yeah, that 6X6 is a lot harder.
