Prime-Co Blocks

(Eingestellt am 13. November 2021, 21:00 Uhr von XeonRisq)

  • Normal sudoku rules apply.
  • Prime-Co Blocks: Cages are to contain one Prime digit and one Composite (non-Prime) digit. The digit "1" is excluded from both the Prime and Composite sets of digits and will be left out of all cages.
  • The number in the top left corner of the cage will be the difference of the two digits in the cage.
  • Example: If a cage contains (4:Composite and 3:Prime) then the cage total would have to be 1. (4-3=1)
  • The numbers outside of the cages will sum to 54.
  • (Puzzle difficulty is somewhere between 3 and 4, but I will start it out at 3 until ratings take over.)

Lovely puzzle, quite easy, and a nice ruleset with potential.

This is very smooth to solve. Thank you, XeonRisq, for setting and sharing. It's not difficult.

Thanks for the feedback and the solve. I agree it's not too difficult, but you do first have to wrap your mind around the way the blocks work, so I put it at 3-star as I thought it was fair.

@Wampan: 2 and 8 have a difference of 6, 2 and 9 a difference of 7.

This puzzle has a flaw in the cage numbers. The largest prime number in sudoku is a 7. If you cant use a 1 in the box, then the largest difference is a 5. Your cages have 6s and 7.

It is a bit trickier than thinking about odds/evens, but BellBear gave good examples above.
