Normal Sudoku rules apply, along with the following additional constraints:
  • Digits may not repeat in a cage
  • Digits in a cage sum to a 2-digit number xy, which may be different for each cage.
  • The digit at row x column y must equal n, where n is the size of the cage.
  • e.g. if a 5-cage sums to 28 that means that R2C8 is a 5
  • For the marked cage, x (circle) is odd and y (square) is even

First of all I must say that this one was a real joy. It was challenging, but with some deduction and endurance it was manageable.

I started without knowing that you made a new version with a hint on the upper left cell. (because I followed the direct link from the CTC discord server) xD After serveral minutes of reducing the 2 cell to 3 numbers, I stucked... (and lucky checked the logic-master page for the rules again)

Because you mentioned the "ultra-hardcore mode" I am curious how to figure out, which on of this 3 numbers is the right one.

I struggled to get the third digit, but after that this was quite a nice solve! Such an interesting ruleset

Solved it when I should've gone to bed. I just couldn't stop, once I started. Nice, challenging and entertaining puzzle!
