The theme for this puzzle comes from a classic YouTube video that sampled and remixed the judges from the UK version of Masterchef.
A brief explanation of base mathematics for solvers who are unfamiliar with the concept:
Normally numbers are written in base 10, for example:
3576 = 3×103 + 5×102 + 7×101 + 6×100
In a different base, any number is expressed similarly. Using 61 as an example in base 3, 5 and 7:
61 = 54 + 6 + 1 = 2×33 + 0×32 + 2×31 + 1×30 = 2021 in base 3
61 = 50 + 10 + 1 = 2×52 + 2×51 + 1×50 = 221 in base 5
61 = 49 + 7 + 5 = 1×72 + 1×71 + 5×70 = 115 in base 7

- Normal Sudoku rules apply.
- Clues outside the grid give the sum of the digits sandwiched between the 1 and 9 in their respective row/column.
- The digit placed next to the 1 inside a sandwich is the butter. Every sandwich clue is given in the numerical base of the butter.
