Special thanks to Niverio and Joseph Nehme for inspiring me to go out of my comfort zone and set an ambiguity puzzle.
Normal sudoku rules apply: each row, column, and region indicated by thick borders in the grid must contain the digits 1 to 9 once each.
Additionally, each line in the grid has one or more of the following properties:
- Renban: The line contains a set of consecutive, non-repeating digits, in any order.
- German whispers: Adjacent digits along the line must have a difference of 5 or more. Digits on these lines may repeat if allowed by other rules.
- Between: Digits on the line (not on the endpoints) must be strictly between the digits in the two endpoints. Digits on these lines (not on the endpoints) may repeat if allowed by other rules.

Fantastic puzzle. It felt very hard at first, but I think once you get used to the ruleset it should settle at 4*.

Looked really daunting at first, but turned out to be okay (agree with 4 stars) after applying a certain technique to break in efficiently.
