This puzzle started out as a Renban lines + German Whispers experiment. I honestly don't know how the former constraint got almost completely flipped, but here we are. The potency of the nonconsecutive restriction really messed with me throughout the setting process; it meant I couldn't quite fit in all the logic I wanted without either breaking or trivialising the puzzle, but what I did get to include seems to work well enough that I can't really complain. Anyway, if you do give this a poke, I hope you enjoy it, and though it's probably unnecessary for me to do so, it would be rude not to wish you good luck!

Rules
Normal sudoku rules apply.
Orthogonally adjacent cells may not contain consecutive digits.
The grey lines are German Whispers lines; that is, the digits along them must differ from their neighbour(s) on the line by at least five. Digits can repeat along these lines if permitted by the other rules.
Solve on f-puzzles here!
Lösungscode: Row 9 and Column 9

Loved it! Very fun combination of rules - huge fan of non-consecutive, and combining with German Whispers was great!
Definitely full of surprise throughout.
Bravo!

Very nice! I love how the solution follows despite the economy of clues. Thanks Panthera! :)

Great puzzle! Non-consecutive is my favorite constraint, and the interactions with the German Whispers are really cool.
