A Primer for Disjoint Groups (Sudoku)

(Published on 2. September 2021, 16:49 by PDN777)

Normal sudoku rules apply. Digits in a cage must sum to the little number in the upper left, and may not repeat in the cage. Cells that appear in the same position relative to their boxes may not contain the same digit (disjoint group constraint). Comments welcome!

You might want to update the German description/rules. "enthalten möglicherweise nicht dieselbe Ziffer" means "possibly do not contain the same digit. You can just delete the "möglicherweise" for the sentence to make more sense.

Besides that, very fun puzzle that isn't too hard but still contains some nice logic. :) Big fan of your sudokus in general.

Edit: Change made. And thanks for being "a regular." :-) Much appreciated.

Love it. I like disjoint sets, but it's nice to have one to practice.
I might use this as a warm-up for more complex disjoint puzzles in the future!

Edit: Terrific! I really made this puzzle for myself, as I find disjoint sets tricky. Setting it helped me to improve my understanding of the form. :-)
