Digits must be rising along the thermometers. The bulb, if given, marks the position of the smallest digit on that thermometer.
The digits 1-9 must be separated into 5 groups. No group is empty and no digit is in two groups. The digits in group 1 are smaller than any digit in group 2, the digits in group 2 are smaller than any digit in group 3, etc.
For any digit placed in the middle box, all cells that are a knight's move apart from it must contain a digit from the same or an adjacent group.
Examples:
If r4c5 contains a digit from group 4, r2c4 must contain a digit from group 3,4 or 5.
If r5c4 contains a digit from group 1, r6c6 must contain a digit from group 1 or 2.
Solution code: Row 1 of the Sudoku.

I've changed the difficulty to very hard.

Very unusual, interesting logic. Slow going at the beginning while getting my head around the groups but it flowed really nicely towards the middle and end. I'd give it 5 stars difficulty for the beginning. Thanks Nahileon :)

What a great puzzle! By far harder than the "13th Nightmare". In comparison to this one the nightmare was a refreshing sleep;) Take a bow and thanks for sharing it:)
