The Sailboat

A tribute to Anne-Marie Rindom.
Rules:
- Standard: Normal Sudoku rules apply. Place the digits 1 through 9 in each empty cell. Digits must not repeat within the same row, column, or box.
- Sandwich cages: Cages form lines. The sum of all cells not on the ends of the line, is twice the sum of the two ends. For instance 1 2345 6 is a legal 6 cell cage, since 2 * (1 + 6) = 2 + 3 + 4 + 5. Digits may not repeat in cages.

Anne-Marie Rindom went to the Olympics in Japan representing Denmark in Laser Radial (1 person sailboat). Before the last two preliminary rounds, she was miles ahead of the field, but those two rounds were disastrous. She received two yellow flags and wound up not even competing in the last round, completely crestfallen and in tears. Two days later she sailed a fantastic medal race and won the gold medal. She is now European champion, world champion, and Olympic gold medal winner.

Thank you for trying it. And yes the break-in is a bit tough. I really wanted to make it as difficult, as I could given the ruleset. I did try other combinations, but the puzzles turned out to be almost free (1-2 stars). Members on the discord seemed to like the ruleset - the puzzle was live-streamed within 30 mins of me posting it. I hope you enjoyed it as well, and thanks again.
