I may be misunderstanding but with the current givens in both versions of Exploration the puzzles are unique. I think the answer to this question is no. If you mean that the given digits and the cells mentioned are transmutable? then within the limits of the remaining givens the answer would be yes, as is the case with most puzzles, but not all permutations of those mentioned cells would create a unique solution and fewer still would have a logical path to that solution.
