Sudoku: Place the digits 1 - 9 in each row and column, and each of the five given regions.

Kropki: cells separated by a white dot contain consecutive digits, and those separated by a black dot contain digits in a ratio of 2 to 1. There is no negative constraint.

Swivel Clones: Each square region is a clone of the diagonally opposite square region, meaning it contains exactly the same arrangement of digits.  However, that region may be rotated and/or reflected. [In the image posted here, the clones have matching colors for emphasis, but at the link there is no coloring in case you want to use colors when solving.]

Great puzzle! Was stuck at a brick wall for quite some time until I saw a way forward by a bit of a long logic chain, I'm sure that wasn't how I was meant to solve, but it got me over the line

I don't think it's a Sudoku variant. All the regions can't cover the whole grid. It's more of a Latin square variant. [I think it is certainly on the border of sudoku variant and not, but I think the audience for this puzzle is definitely people looking for sudoku variants, so I went with that -z]
I kind of disagree. I don't think this one is one the border like draw the region or puzzle hybrid. But I still think adding Sudoku tag might be a better choice. Not that for those who are looking for, but for those who are not looking for.
