Battle With The Archers 5pecial: Message From Black and White
(Eingestellt am 29. Juni 2021, 10:33 Uhr von Playmaker6174)
A heroic knight named Hector, while having fun by playing impersonation game with friends in the castle, realizes that his allies haven't come back and feels like something's not right. Seconds later the guards rush to him and report that someone has murdered his allies. Hector runs to the scene and sees a message carved on the wall. With the message left behind, a distressed Hector pulls out his sword and whispers "so you're truly back"; it reveals that based on butterfly marks and daunting messages, the killer is none other than Riego - Hector's former ally and old friend, who's in the seek for vengeance after learning about the death of his fiancee Lena in a major battle two years ago.
In that battle, an infamous group known as Four Horsemen - including Hector, Riego, David and Julian (two men that got murdered) - fought for the peace of the castle. During one moment Lena, described to be not full conscious, got stuck in her room that happened to be burned by someone and couldn't get out. Noticing the big smoke from Lena’s place, Riego rushed to the place. He managed to get into Lena's room from the other exit but realized it was too late to save her. Riego knelt down, touched her necklace and screamed in agony; he even tried to cut himself multiple times but got stopped by Hector. Days after the end of battle, Riego decided to leave Horsemen group and quit as being a hero for the castle because he thought he didn't have enough courage and will to deserve the position he had. Back to real homeland, Riego became an ordinary farmer and there haven't been any contacts between Riego and other Horsemen since then.
Two years later, it's death anniversary of Lena and Riego decided to visit her grave at the mountain near his homeland. When he got to the grave, there's a small thing put beside Lena's tombstone which turned out to be a burned badge that got splashed in the corner by (Lena's) blood. Riego quickly realized that it's a reward for the Horsemen as an accomplishment in the heyday, each of them got different badge and the burned badge was Badge of Distinctness from Hector as the group captain. He noticed that his allies might happen to set a trap for Lena as she was the main reason for huge failure of Horsemen's mission few weeks before the major battle and also the one causing people to lose trust of entire group. Riego did forgive Lena as he claimed that it was his mistake instead but rest of the group mostly disagreed and in conclusion, Hector decided not to talk about that anymore. Tending to cement this thought in his head, Riego crushed the rusty badge on the ground and swore to seek for vengeance.
Back to the present, as Riego prepares to come face-to-face with Hector, what will happen next?
This is the 5th puzzle of my
Battle With The Archers collection and it's quite different compared to previous ones as I want the series to be more friendly :). The puzzle includes four mini 6x6 sudokus that have okay difficulty (tend to increase as the puzzles go on) and are pretty approachable. You can leave a comment and feedback on which puzzles are your favorite after solving. I hope you enjoy!
Also check out the previous puzzles from the collection, I'm sure you'll have good times :}
Rules (apply for all four puzzles): Normal 6x6 Sudoku rules apply. Digits along an arrow must sum to the digit in the circle cell attached to that arrow. Digits along an arrow can repeat if allowed by other rules.
Kropki Dots: black dot implies the 1:2 ratio between two cells, white dot implies the consecutive relationship between two cells. Not all kropki dots are given in all four puzzles.
In addition, for each of the puzzle there is an extra rule:
+
Puzzle 1 - Symbol: the grey dot can be either black dot or white dot.
+
Puzzle 2 - Confrontations: digits along an arrow must also increase from the tip to the circle.
+
Puzzle 3 - Tremble: cells that are a Knight's move away (in chess) mustn't contain the same digit.
+
Puzzle 4 - Ensemble: cells that are a King's move away (in chess) mustn't contain the same digit.

Very nice collection! The second one was somehow very surprising to me - I didn't even think this was possible in any Sudoku grid, but apparently in 6x6 it is! :^)
