Pipemare: Piping Hot

Welcome back to The Pipe Factory! Today we need you to assemble a pipe while taking great care to keep temperatures in check.
Each 3x3 box of the grid is a chamber with its own thermometer. The red bulb of the thermometer will display the exact temperature of a given chamber. The default chamber temperature is 0, but each segment of pipe will increase a chamber's temperature by 1. Other numbers on the thermometer are purely cosmetic, but must increase from the bulb end.
Remember that the pipe is to-code, meaning that it may not touch itself, even on the corners. It must enter and exit at the designated arrows outside the grid.
Be aware that we cheaped out on thermometers. They can't display 0. In fact, when they try to display 0, they give you a readout that wouldn't be possible in ANY to-code pipe. You get what you pay for!
And, oh yes. Normal Sudoku rules apply.
In case you've forgotten, the pipe shapes are as follows:
1: Top to Bottom
2: Left to Right
3: Top to Left
4: Right to Bottom
5: Left to Right
6: Top to Right
7: Left to Bottom
8: Top to Bottom OR Left to Right (but not both simultaneously; may vary between 8's)
9: Liquid cannot flow through the 9

Maybe you may not have seen this reply, but I still wanted to ask if the bulb part of the thermometer is allowed to be part of the pipe?

Die Regel mit "try to display 0" ist kaum zu verstehen. Man sollte darauf gefasst sein, dass das Thermometer einen beliebigen Wert anzeigt, wenn die Box keinen Teil der Leitung enthält.

What setters here usually do in those cases, is to make a single post with a normal sized puzzle accompanied by a smaller sized example. Or they turn it into a series, where they post a new and progressively more difficult variation every 2+ days.

So sorry Tom! The two puzzles are related (one is a simple training for the other), but I completely understand and will follow these guidelines going forward.

It has been mentioned many many times, but people seem to miss it anyways. Please don't post more than one puzzle per day. Better would be something like 1 per week tops. Respect the other setters and give their puzzles some time to get solved.
