Parity Pandemonium

Normal Sudoku rules apply. Clues outside the grid give the sum of the digits along the indicated diagonal.
The Parity Rule: if an ODD cell is surrounded (king's move) by an ODD number (X) of ODD digits, it must be coloured grey and the cell must contain the digit X. If an EVEN cell is surrounded by an EVEN number (Y) of EVEN digits, it must be grey and the cell must contain the digit Y.
ALL cells in the grid must follow the Parity Rule. ALL possible grey cells are given (e.g. if a NON-GREY cell is surrounded by exactly 4 even digits and 4 odd digits, it must be ODD).

I am back! Hope you enjoy my puzzle - this took me months to set. Writing the rules took almost as long ;)
Please let me know if there are any mistakes or if anything in the rules is unclear.
