Inspired by I0rr-Rysdl's puzzle on the CTC Discord server. Art suggested by Glum Hippo.
Standard sudoku rules apply.
Additionally, the grid is completely filled with snakes: a Mama snake, 2 Snakelets, and 8 Hatchlings.
Mama snake is a palindrome.
The Snakelets are each 9 cells long. The digit on each end of each Snakelet indicates how many of the 8 surrounding cells are part of Mama.
The Hatchlings are the given thermos. Digits increase along Hatchlings from the bulb to the end. Mama snake diagonally or orthogonally touches the bulb end of each Hatchling.
Each non-Hatchling snake is 1 cell wide and may not touch itself orthogonally. Snakes do not overlap each other. There are no other restrictions on snakes touching other snakes.

The instruction I found a bit confusing was "The digit on each end of each Snakelet indicates how many of the 8 surrounding cells are part of Mama." I wasted some time looking for a way to have the ends of each Snakelet be surrounded by 8 cells, when it appeared to me that at least one of the ends would have to be along the edge of the puzzle (i.e., surrounded by only 5 cells). I finally just disregarded the "8" and hoped for the best, which worked out. Perhaps revise the rule to state, "The digit on each end of each Snakelet indicates how many of the (orthogonally and diagonally) surrounding cells are part of Mama."

Really nice and enjoyable once again! Thank you. It seems that finding the mama becomes easier after practice, it only took a couple of minutes. But the rest took me about an hour.

I don't know whether I just got lucky by looking in the right place at the right time, but I found this to be the easiest Mama Python puzzle so far. The logic flows really nicely, and the palindrome logic is excellent. I enjoyed this thoroughly.

I liked this one, very nice smooth solve. Probably easier than 4 stars?

The rules need to be revised for this one, since the hatchling in box 9 is clearly touching itself orthogonally - so is the one in box 6, actually.
Come to think it, is the mama (or the snakelets) allowed to move diagonally like the hatchling in box 6? Current phrasing of the rules doesn't forbid it.
