Antiknight Sandwich Sudoku

The one reason we didn't mention a limit lower than that, is because it would restrict a lot of things that were regulary done in the past. Like a christmas series for the 24 days before christmas (often with the puzzles themed around the numbers). Or a series of five puzzles with a meta-puzzle at the end that are best posted together. Or some preparation puzzles for a contest that are also used for promotion.

But in general I agree that a puzzle a week is a quota that would leave everyone more breathing room in the flood we have since a year now. If this sentence actually encourages people to post seven puzzles a week, we should change it.

@Cane_Puzzles: There are many benefits of posting less often. One benefit for the solver, is that it will create an environment where the solver feels they have more time to relax and enjoy solving a new puzzle (before it gets washed away by a flood of new puzzles). One benefit for yourself is that you will have thought carefully about the logical path of your puzzle and have it tested it beforehand. One benefit for other setters is that their puzzle will appear on the first page of puzzles/sudokus for a longer period of time, and thus more solvers will have a look at it and give it a try (and thus those setters would get more feedback either by a comment or by the rating system).
It's why I and others try not to post more than once a week, especially when there are so many different setters on this great portal.

Hi @Joseph nehme I am new here so I am trying to follow the guidelines in this website, such as "...In order to favor a large variety of puzzles in the portal, we recommend no more than seven puzzles per week..."

Hello, I can understand you're eager to set puzzles and post them, but please try to post at most once per week so the portal doesn't get flooded. Thank you.
